Your Generosity at Work in Nepal
Last Christmas, many members of our Connections family participated in our Giving Trees project to support ministry opportunities in India and Nepal. One of those ministries is a small Christian school in Nepal led by Hannah, the sister of Connections member Elizabeth Kipgen.
We are excited to share an update on how your generosity has impacted the school and the children it serves. Through your gifts and prayers, the ministry has been able to make meaningful improvements to its learning environment and expand opportunities for students.
We are also grateful to report that Hannah has safely returned home to Nepal and resumed her ministry responsibilities. Elizabeth recently shared the following video update and letter of thanks from Hannah.
Dear Church,
Greetings to you all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I hope you are all doing well. It has been such an honor to get to know your church. Although I have not had the privilege of meeting many of you personally, I have been deeply encouraged by the wonderful testimonies and stories my sister has shared with me. Through her, I have caught a glimpse of what a healthy, loving and generous church family you are.
On behalf of our school ministry, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous financial support. Thank you so much for the love and kindness you have shown by sending an offering for our small school ministry. We have been truly blessed by your generosity.
I would also like to share how your gift has been used. Because of your support, we were able to upgrade our school library with many new books, purchase a cupboard for better organization, and buy a television that is now being used as a valuable learning resource. We were also able to purchase play materials for our pre-nursery children and set up an activity room for our co-curricular programs.
These may seem like simple additions, but for a small school like ours, they represent significant steps forward. Your helping hand has enabled us to improve the learning environment and create better opportunities for our students.
The children have been especially excited. They eagerly explore the new books in the library, and our pre-nursery students joyfully sing, dance, and learn through the educational programs displayed on the television. Seeing their excitement and smiles has been one of the greatest blessings.
Once again, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to every member of the church who contributed. Please know that every gift has been used carefully and purposefully. We are deeply thankful for your generosity and the trust you have placed in our ministry.
May God continue to bless your church abundantly, provide for every need, and multiply your ministry for His glory. Thank you for standing with us through your prayers and support. We truly appreciate your partnership and look forward to your continued prayers in the days ahead.
