“Leading Kids to Know, Love and Serve Jesus.”
We want “going to church” to be a highlight of your kids’ week. We have created an environment, staffed with trained volunteers, where kids can have age-appropriate worship, lessons, and activities, all Bible-based, that teach them all about God’s love. We also desire to connect parents to a faith community which can support and equip them beyond their capacity.
This Sunday
Preschool through elementary kids continue their Advent journey with stories and readings from God With Us: “A Family Advent Celebration” by Katie Pawlak, incorporating Jesse Tree ornaments with the theme of Peace. Ally will also continue teaching songs for their performance during the Children’s Service on December 15.
For details on Advent plans for the kids, check out Kid’s Connection Holidays 2024, see Kid’s Connection Holidays 2024.
Our main service is designed for teens and adults, so we have a kid-friendly experience on Sunday mornings for 3 different age groups :
Nursery (Birth – 2 yrs.)
This a place where every child is loved, cared for and taught about Jesus. Our Nursery room is designed to engage kids’ hearts at their age or developmental level to make friends, laugh, learn, play and celebrate that God made me, God loves me and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Parents may check in their kids at 9:15 am before the service begins.
Preschool Ministry
Our preschoolers can check in at 9:15 am before the service begins. They will participate in bible stories, crafts, and games where they will learn that:
- God Made Me
- God Loves Me
- Jesus Wants To Be My Forever Friend
Elementary Ministry
Our Kindergarten-5th graders start Sunday in the sanctuary to worship with the congregation and then sent forth to join their teachers for lessons that teach them the bible story along with practical lessons that emphasize:
- I can Trust God no matter what
- I need to make the wise choice
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated
Kids Check-in and Parent Notification
All parents are required to register and sign-in their children through our check-in system in the lobby area as they arrive. First-time parents may need to allow extra time to set up their information on their child’s first visit.
Parent Connections
As parents, we all know that we can’t go on this journey alone. We sometimes just need that extra voice to encourage us and direct us as we step into each day of parenting.
We’d love to connect you to other parents and help you develop relationships along the way as you seek to raise your kids to follow Christ.
