Ways to Serve - Connections Church

Volunteering is a good way to learn about Connections and feel more like part of the community, all while serving Jesus.

God has equipped us all with specific skills and gifts. As we seek to help you connect with your calling, you can discover your gifts through exploring the volunteer opportunities available within the church. And using your God-given skills is a great way to serve the church!

Ever heard the saying “many hands make light work“? Well, Nehemiah 3 is a perfect example of that.

Imagine this: The city walls of Jerusalem were in bad shape, and Nehemiah decided to fix them. But he didn’t do it alone. He rallied a whole bunch of people to help out. Each person had a role to play. Some fixed up the walls near their homes, others helped their neighbors, and together, they got the job done.

Volunteering is a lot like that. When we come together and each do our part, amazing things can happen. Because when we work together, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.

Gardens Volunteers Needed

The Farm to Table Project is an extension of our Community Gardens, dedicated to growing fresh, organic food to share with our church and community. Volunteers can help tend garden beds, distribute produce, support the pumpkin patch for Pumpkinfest or assist with events and communication.

If you’d like to be part of this meaningful, community-focused ministry, please email gardens@myconnections.church to get involved. Your support helps bring nourishment, connection and care to others.

Vacation Bible School

Help create a fun and welcoming environment for kids at our Summer VBS Nights, June 9 and 11. Volunteers are needed for crew leaders, crafts, snacks, sports, media, photography and prayer support. Whether you can serve one night or both, there is a place for you.

Your willingness to serve makes a lasting impact in the lives of children and families.

Mission Trip

Join our mission trip to Dulce, NM, July 26–29 as we partner with Jicarilla Reformed Church to lead a Bible Camp for children and build meaningful relationships with the community. There are opportunities to serve both in preparation and on the trip, with time for ministry, connection and reflection together.

Your involvement helps share the love of Christ in tangible ways.
