Pastor Rob Byker joins us with a message from Luke 22:14–20 and Luke 22:31–34, titled “Peter Encounters Grace.” At the Last Supper, Peter promises unwavering loyalty to Jesus, but Jesus knows Peter will soon deny Him. Even so, Christ offers His body and blood for forgiveness and prays that Peter’s faith will not fail. This passage reminds us that the first call of a Christ follower is not to prove our strength, but to receive Christ’s forgiving grace and then strengthen others with that same grace.
