Ways to Serve

Volunteering is a good way to learn about Connections and feel more like part of the community, all while serving Jesus.

God has equipped us all with specific skills and gifts. As we seek to help you connect with your calling, you can discover your gifts through exploring the volunteer opportunities available within the church. And using your God-given skills is a great way to serve the church!

Ever heard the saying “many hands make light work“? Well, Nehemiah 3 is a perfect example of that.

Imagine this: The city walls of Jerusalem were in bad shape, and Nehemiah decided to fix them. But he didn’t do it alone. He rallied a whole bunch of people to help out. Each person had a role to play. Some fixed up the walls near their homes, others helped their neighbors, and together, they got the job done.

Volunteering is a lot like that. When we come together and each do our part, amazing things can happen. Because when we work together, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.

Help Needed: Ceiling Tile Touch-Up

We’re looking for someone who can help paint over water spots on the ceiling tiles throughout the main floor of the church building. This project involves using a ladder, protecting the floor from spills, and applying paint with a small roller. All supplies will be provided.

If you’re willing to serve in this way during January or February, please contact jayne@myconnections.church. Your help will make our building warm and welcoming for everyone who gathers here.

Mission Nepal 2025

Donations through our Nepal/India Fund help meet real needs and continue the ministry work we support in Nepal. Your gifts provide resources for churches, support for children and strength for the gospel ministry that is growing there. This fund also helps Elizabeth during her 2025 mission trip as she serves and teaches in Nepal. Every contribution builds up the church and shares the hope of Jesus with those who long to know Him.

We also invite you to pray for her during the month she will be in Nepal. Thank you for serving with generosity and helping us share Christ’s love with churches and children across Nepal.
