Ash Wednesday Service

Join us for this special night as we begin the season of Lent together. Pastor Rob Byker will share a short message titled “Our Better Mark”, reflecting on the mark God placed on Cain and the sobering truth that all of us face death because of sin. The ashes remind us of our mortality and our need for repentance, humility and honesty before God as we enter this season of reflection.

The message will also point us to the hope Christians receive in Christ. Through baptism, we are given a better mark, one that points beyond death to new life in Jesus. During the service, we will observe the imposition of ashes as a sign of repentance and renewed commitment to live in the way of Christ, who has already overcome death and calls us to walk in His righteousness. All are welcome to participate in this meaningful service.
