Sunday Worship Service

Join us this Sunday as we observe Pentecost Sunday and Memorial Day Weekend with a message from Acts 2:1–21 and Acts 2:32–33 titled “Peter Explains the Spirit Encounter.”
The coming of the Holy Spirit was a powerful and public moment marked by extraordinary signs, tongues of fire, speaking in different languages, and crowds gathered from many nations hearing the wonders of God proclaimed in their own language. Unlike the quiet arrival of baby Jesus witnessed by only a few shepherds, the coming of the Spirit took place in the crowded streets of Jerusalem during the great Pentecost festival.
As the crowd tried to explain what they were witnessing, some dismissed it by saying the apostles were drunk. But Peter declared there was a far greater explanation. This was the fulfillment of God’s promise through the prophet Joel, a sign that the last days had begun and that the risen Christ had truly taken His heavenly throne in glory. As promised, Jesus had poured out His Spirit.
Peter proclaims this as an era of grace. God has raised Jesus to life, revealing Him as the true Lord and King. And the invitation remains open to all: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Join us as we reflect on the coming of the Holy Spirit, the beginning of the church age, and the hope we have in Christ.
For the Kids
This week in Children’s Church (preschool – elementary), the children will enjoy a Bible lesson and a fun craft that helps them connect what they’ve learned in a hands-on way. Take a moment to ask your child what they discovered and created, it’s a great way to hear about their time and keep the conversation going at home.
Nursery care for babies and toddlers is available as well. You can check in at the front lobby before the service.
