The Ascension
What is the Ascension, and why does it matter? This message explains how the ascension of Jesus to heaven, 40 days after his resurrection, confirms three promises: first that Jesus was actually, literally, going ahead to prepare a place for us. Second, that he was actually passing the baton of his mission to us. Third, that he was truly sending us the Holy Spirit.
