“Let’s have a feast and celebrate.
For this son of mine was dead and is alive again;
he was lost and is found.”
~ Luke 15:23-24
A lost lamb.
A lost coin.
Lost kids.
Jesus loves lost things.
Or rather, he loves us so much that when we lose our way,
he comes searching.
This Sunday we look at the most beloved parable of Jesus-
The Prodigal Son.
This is really the story of two lost sons,
and a father who loves them prodigiously (extravagantly).
Join us this Sunday,
and join the feast of the found-
those who were dead, but who are alive in Christ!
This June we will look at four of Jesus' most famous parables. They've been used, abused, misunderstood and misrepresented far too often. Let's unpack the real meaning and application of these classics!
June 4- The Four Soils
June 11- The Bags of Gold
June 18- The Good Samaritan
June 25- The Lost Son
