"Now he had to go through Samaria.'

Jesus displays the perfect balance of urgency and presence.
Jesus resolved to get to Samaria.
He "had to go..."
Then, as soon as he got there,
He "sat down by the well."
Like Jesus, when we understand our calling and mission,
we can have both urgency and presence.
An urgency that gives direction and drive.
And a peace that allows us to be fully present in the moment.
This Sunday we will see the urgency of Jesus that gets him to Samaria.
And the presence of Jesus that changes a woman,
and in turn,
brings revival to an entire city.
It's awesome.
It's one of my favorite stories in the bible.
