Our first Sunday in Lent takes us into the wilderness with Jesus and Satan.
Of course this teaches us some essential things about Jesus:
He was tested and tried,
and yet overcame.
But in learning about Jesus' victory we'll learn a few things our our own temptations,
and how to have victory in Jesus.
Lent.
A season to repent, fast and serve.
It's not for everyone.
But it should be.
We can all benefit from a season of self-examination, self-sacrifice and selflessly serving others.
