Connections Church LOVES kids!
We want “going to church” to become one of the best parts of your kids’ week.
We have created an environment, staffed with trained volunteers, where kids can have age-appropriate worship, lessons, and activities, all bible based, that teach them all about God’s love.
If you are planning to use our Children’s Ministry please come by 9:15 am to register and get your kids checked in before the service starts at 9:30 am.
- Seedlings: our nursery for children up to age 2
- Pre-school children (ages 3-5, or pre-k) have their own story and craft time.
- Children K-5 join their family in the worship center for singing. At about 10 am they are dismissed and join their teachers for their own lesson.
If you would like have your kids in the worship service with you, that’s fine. We only ask that you be mindful of their behavior and the worship experience of others. And, FYI, we do not shy away from some “sensitive” topics in the worship service.
You can get involved with our upcoming Parents Night Out Children’s Ministry event on Saturday, December 1, 5:30-9:30 pm. Your kids will enjoy games, ornament-making, snacks, and a movie to wind down. Soccer Buddies will be our special guest for the evening! View the event page for more information and to register.
Just to be clear, we want families to worship together. Families are being pulled in different directions, so we want our junior and senior high youth gathering with their families in our worship service. Moms, dads, brothers, and sisters, together worshiping God.
That said, we know youth need to develop their own faith in God. They meet the first and third Sundays, 6-8 pm for Bible Study and to spend time together. We welcome middle school and high school-aged kids to join us!
About once a month we plan a special event for fun, adventure or community service.
Upcoming Youth Group Schedule:
- November 25: Thanksgiving Fun Night!
- December 1: Serving for Parents Night Out, 5:30-9:30 pm
